Air Flow and Air Direction Sensors for Tunnels
For a tunnel project at Faroe-Islands (Hovstunnel, between Hov and Ravik) we have delivered a 3343 Air Flow Sensor and 3343 Air Direction Sensor from Aanderaa Data Instruments, together with 3429 Signal Converters for 4-20 mA output signals. These sensors are designed for control of ventilation fans in road tunnels, when the natural draught or wind is insufficient for proper ventilation. A 3017 Display Unit with engineering units and 4-20 mA output signals is also suitable as a local display and as output for connected PLC.

Automatic Vacuum Extraction System for Soil Gas Measurements
A measurement system, in Danish called "EDSC Poreluftudtager", is a new way to improve the quality of taken soil gas samples, inclusive of documentation for the flow rate and volume, time of vacuum pumping and regulation. This system, installed into a Waterproof Cabinet, consists of a Vacuum Pump, Vacuum Meter, Mass Flow Meter, high-precise Control Valve and a Datalogger, all powered by a 12V accumulator for at least 8 hours of field operation before re-charging. The measurement system has a setup of wanted volume and flow rate for the soil gas, and should stop automatically, when preset values is obtained. All data around vacuum and flow rate are logged into a Datalogger for later transfer, analyzing and documentation of the total measurement.

Costal Monitoring Buoy System for a Mining Industry
A Monitoring Buoy System has been delivered to measure oceanographic and meteorological parameters, when ships arrive to a 500m pier for material loading. Signals from the buoy are logged and transmitted by a AM Transmitter to the building on-shore. Solar panels are used as power input to the buoy.

Fisherman Project at Cap Verde
For Nordic Development Fund we have delivered a complete automatic Weather Station for measure of wind speed, wind direction, air temperature, relative humidity, sunshine and rain. A 3660 Datalogger, mounted in a cabinet and with a 10m mast upon that, should record and store all data from sensors into a 2990 Data Storing Unit.Later on the stored data could be read-out by a 2995 DSU-Reader and into a PC with a 5059 Data Reading Program installed. Also a 3315 Handheld Display Unit together with an Inline Doppler Current Sensor was delivered for off-shore measurement from small boats

Forest and Landscape Monitoring
For a daily measurement of wind speed, wind direction, air temperature, humidity, solar radiation and rain, 1 system with a 10m mast has been delivered for monitoring weather parameters into an open landscape.
Another system with a 4m mast has been placed into a forest, close to the first system. Both system are solar panel powered with NRG Symphonie Datalogger and iPack as data collector and transmitter by GSM to the Receiver.
All collected data is transmitted once a day as e-mail. An ED-Cup Anemometer with NRG interface has been delivered for the most precise measurement of wind speed.

Hobo Weather and Micro Stations
For an institute within University of Copenhagen we have delivered some Hobo Weather Stations for stand-alone measurement of air-temperature, air-humidity, rain and solar radiation. This price-effective weather station has a very low power consumption, very precise sensors and for the PC a well function software with possible remote facilities through Radio Modem connection.
The Micro Datalogger has been used for several measurement systems, monitoring wind speed into top of cranes.
These measurements are used for documentation of too high wind speeds, with the result of down time for the cranes.

Hobo Weather Stations for the University of Roskilde
In connection with a Ph.d. project at Faroe Island, three Hobo Weather Stations type H21 were delivered for measure of Wind Speed, Air Temperature, Rain and Soil Moisture.
The Hobo H21 Datalogger with max 15 Smart sensor inputs and 512KB flash memory was mounted at a 2m Tripod for collecting and storing of data. These Tripods were modified locally for installation at rocky hillsides.
A Hobo Shuttle was used for transfer of data from the Dataloggers and to the office.
HOBOware Pro software did the analyzing of the collected data.

IceFree Wind Measurement System for Cranes
The Weather Station is designed for measuring of Wind Speed on top of Cranes during the operating period. The system, short described, consist of a heated Ultrasonic anemometer mounted on top of the Crane. The anemometer is connected to a Data Logger System, also placed at the Top of Crane.
The Data Logger is placed into a Weather Proof Case together with a Short Range Radio Modem. The Radio Modem is used for the data communication to the Operator on the Ground.
On the Ground the Operator has another Radio Modem, which is used to make a connection to the Data Logger. Power is supplied from ground through a cable with CEE plugs at each end.

IKKA Fjord Project, Greenland
In close co-operation with Geological Institute, part of University of Copenhagen, ED Service-Center has delivered an AADI 3660 Datalogger Measurement system with sensors for offshore measurement of Oxygen, Conductivity, pH, Water Temperature and flow.
All as stand alone measurement, battery powered for a period of at least 10 month. A 110m sea cable from datalogger onshore connect the sensors to the datalogger. A special flow sensor with electronic control unit has been developed and produced for measuring of flow through the Ikaite Columns. A flow as low as 100ml per hour should be measured.

NRG Weather Station for Swaziland
For wind and solar measuring along the Tikhuba site a 50m XHD Talltower System has been delivered and installed for Ministry of Natural Resources and Energy & Swaziland Meteorological Service. The measuring system consist of a 15 channel SymphoniePlus Datalogger together with a GSM GPRS Ipack, mounted into a weather proof cabinet for data sampling and transfer to the local GSM network. The system is solar powered and has 6 calibrated Anemometers, 2 Wind Direction Sensors, 1 Temperature Sensor, 1 Barometric Pressure Sensor and 2 Pyranometers for measuring of the weather parameters.
For diffuse radiation measurement a Kipp & Zonen Shadow Ring is installed along the mast. The erection of the 50m Mast was made by a well function Hydraulic Winch system from NRG including a Honda gasoline engine and Ginpole. This equipment together with the local technicians made a successful and safe installation of the tower.At top of mast a battery powered LED Obstruction Light was mounted for 24 hours of operation. The 12V accumulatorfor the top light has a capacity of 150 hours of operation and is connected through a battery charger to the local 220V AC network. Lightning protection was established with an extra mast and ground wiring due to high lightning intensity in this area.

The delivery has been made as "Free surface Shipment" from NRG - USA and to Port Manila.

Off-shore Weather Station for Danish Electricity Supply Utility
For the Horns Rev 2 Project, the worlds largest offshore Wind Farm, ED Service-Center has delivered a Weather Station, mounted at the top of the Transformer Station, installed 30 km west of Blåvandshug.
The Weather Station has a DT80 Datalogger for collecting and storing of data, delivered from 1 Cupanemometer, 1 Analogue Wind Direction Sensor, 2 Air Temperature Sensors, 2 Relative Humidity Sensors, 2 Barometric Pressure Sensors and 1 Ultrasonic Wind Sensor for wind speed and direction. The data is generated as average, max and min, gust and standard deviation values and transmitted as Modbus data to a common SCADA system.
All sensors are installed at a 4 m alu-mast with a tipping mountings for easy maintenance.

Off-shore Weather Stations for Electricity Supply Utilities
For measurement of weather conditions before installing of wind turbines at 2 sites off-shore, automatic weather stations have been delivered to measure wind speed, direction, air and water temperature, relative humidity, rain, barometric pressure and solar radiation.
A datalogger together with a Memory/Modem manager has the collection, calculation and storing of data off-shore. A GSM line transmit the data to a PC on-shore, and ED DAQ software has the handling of sensor coefficients, presentation and storing of data into engineering units.

Offshore Measurements from Wake Masts
From two 70m Mast, marked M6 and M7, continued measurements of weather parameters has been transmitted by Radio Modems to a Service Platform and then online to PC onshore.
At each mast 8 Cup Anemometers, 2 Wind Direction Sensors, 2 Air Temperature Sensors, 1 Water Temperature Sensor and 1 Barometric Sensor are connected through interface modules to a DT800 Datalogger.
Also Solar Power Panels are monitored within charge, discharge and voltage for the accumulators. The two measurement systems have been continuously working since the installation 2003.

Rain Gauge together with Hobo Datalogger
For environmental projects we have delivered several Semi-Pro Rain Gauges with Hobo H07-002-04 Event Logger for detecting amount of precipitation. The Semi-pro Rain Gauge has 2 reed switches with 1 normally closed contact and 1 with normally open.
The Rain Gauges can be delivered calibrated for 0,20 mm per pulse output or 0,25 mm per pulse.
Also a Sampler Interface has been included a delivery to a customer, who wanted the Rain Gauge as master for starting a Water Sampler Unit, when it starts raining.

RCM9 and Spanish Mussels
From NERI, Jens Larsen has used RCM9 Recording Meters within inspection around mussel rafts, placed in the North of Spain. Net current direction and speed were measured by RCM9 units.
From 1999 NERI (DMU) also has placed 1-3 RCM9 units at strategic places within Limfjorden, an inlet in the north of Jutland. Measurement here has been done nearly uninterrupted.

RDCP600 combined with Oxygen Optode
In close co-operation with Aanderaa Data Instruments (AADI) we arranged a test of RDCP600 with NERI (The National Environmental Research Institute, also named DMU), and Jens Larsen as perator.
NERI wanted a test of RDCP600 within Current Speed/Direction, Water Temperature, Conductivity and Oxygen, measured from a special box, placed at the bottom. An 3835 Oxygen Optode had been connected to RDCP600 as external sensor for the test.
The operator was very satisfied with the instrument and got high quality data out from the test.

Temperature Measurement at Power Plant
For a Danish Engineering Company we have delivered a complete Datalogger system for measure of temperature into a Power Plant boiler unit. The system has a DT800 Datalogger as main logger with signal input from Red Lion displays and data output to local network and PC through RS232.
All 18 temperature channels has a thermocouple type K as sensor, and the logged data has to be stored at 60MB PCMCIA Memory before read-out. A PID air pressure regulator is connected to one of the Red Lion temperature modules for cooling air regulation within the measurement period.

Uganda Energy Project
For alternative energy resources assessment and utilisation study we have delivered 4 stand alone measurement systems to Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development, Uganda. Two systems with 20m masts and two with 4m masts. All systems included a NRG Symphonie Datalogger, solar powered; with 2 Cup Anemometers, 1 Wind direction Sensor, 1 combined temperature-humidity sensor and 1 solar radiation sensor for 20m masts, and 1 combined temperature-humidity sensor and 1 solar radiation sensor for the 4m masts.
The cup anemometers had been delivered with wind Tunnel calibration per each anemometer for highest precision. The solar power modules had 10W as nominal Power. For data handling a NRG Analysis Software and WindPro software from EMD was delivered.

Water Level and Warning Detect
A circuit for detecting of water level and warning has been developed and produced for a manufacturer of Biological Air Cleaning Systems.
An u-processor control unit with sensors for water level detection and circuit for regulation of fan speed has been delivered into a small plastic box, and with a switch and LED display for programming and state of the output signal.
Sensors, made of gold-plated circuit boards, make the state of water levels.

Weather Station for the Port Authorities

Weather Stations for General Meteorological Measurements
For general measurement of meteorological parameters, 6 30m NRG TallTower Systems have been delivered to Swaziland National Energy Policy Project. A NRG 9300 datalogger has been used with 6 digital and 6 analogue channels for measure of wind speed, wind direction, air temperature, barometric pressure and solar radiation together with diffuse radiation.
A shadow ring has been used for the diffuse radiation measurement. As power input has been used Alcaline batteries together with 220VAC power supplies. A special ED developed 9300 monitor Data Acquisition Software has been used for on-line transmission of data from the 9300 datalogger and into the PC.

Davis Vantage Pro2 Weather Stations have been used at several Waste Deposit Stations for monitoring the weather parameters and especially monitoring precipitation for annually calculation of the percolat production.
